Lee Harrington is a partner of the firm focusing his practice on bankruptcy, reorganization, and commercial lending, including an extensive litigation practice. He has represented debtors, trustees, secured lenders, indenture trustees, creditors’ committees and unsecured creditors in negotiated workouts, assignments for the benefit of creditors, commercial litigation matters, and all aspects of Chapter 11, Chapter 7 and Chapter 15 cases in courts across the country. Much of Lee’s work focuses on distressed asset acquisition and restructuring litigation, where he practices in both federal and state courts.

Before joining the firm, Lee practiced at Nixon Peabody, LLP in the firm’s Boston office and Blank Rome LLP in Philadelphia. Before entering practice, Lee clerked for the late Chief Judge Peter Walsh in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Lee has lectured on a variety of issues, including the impact of bankruptcy on intellectual property licensing rights, retail restructuring, problems affecting directors and officers of companies in the “zone of insolvency”, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy, with a particular focus on reclamation rights, stay relief litigation, distressed asset acquisitions in and out of bankruptcy and avoidance litigation.

He is admitted to practice in Delaware, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania; and in: U.S. District Court, District of Delaware; U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts; U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania; U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York; and the United States Supreme Court
